GeekTool

Ever wonder about how to get information shown on your [stag]OSX[/stag] desktop?

Well wonder no more, I stumbled over a blog entry which mentioned [stag]GeekTool[/stag] which looks to be pretty interesting.

I especially like some of the screenshots, here is an example of what it can do.

While I was running Linux on my desktop I looked into this, but never really got around to do anything. And now that it's possible on OSX I'm thinking about giving it a try.
