A couple of weeks agoe I opened the door into the room where my server lives…. And heard this strange noice, which was like a scratching noice. I didn’t notice (or didn’t care), well the next day I did care, as the disk which holds my /var and /home was dead…..
Got some new disks, and reinstalled the system with <a href="http://www.c-note.dk/blog/exit.php?url_id=61&entry_id=25" title="http://www.centos.org/" onmouseover="window.status=’http://www.centos.org/’;return true;" onmouseout="window.status=”;return true;">CentOS4</a> on mirrored disks. And started the long walk of getting everything to work again.
Now my blog is back, but all the pictures are gone, so are entries between Dec. 3rd 2004 and today….
REAL MEN DOES NOT DO BACKUP!!!!
